#week8
Hello everybody!
This week we want to focus on the
Louvre in Paris.
Who doesn’t know the museum in the
heart of Paris with the famous portrait “Mona Lisa”, that is among the greatest
attractions?
First, some facts: The Louvre is the
world’s largest museum and located in the city’s 1st arrondissement.
With 7.4 million visitors in 2016, the Louvre is named the world’s second most
visited museum. Isn’t that incredible? Approximately 38,000 objects from
prehistory to the 21st century are exhibited there.
As the topic of our presentation is
the marketing of museums, we also had a look at the Louvre’s. The museum is
represented on many social media channels. Besides Facebook, which is very common
today, the Louvre also uses Twitter, Instagram and even YouTube. The most
updated page is Twitter. Via this social media channel, the Louvre gives broad
information about upcoming events and shares other tweets about the museum.
Thanks for reading,
until next week!
