#week6

Hey guys!

Hope you all had a good week and enjoyed our last post.
Today, we'll talk a little bit about the "Porsche Museum" in Stuttgart, Germany.

The Porsche Museum is interesting for our marketing topic, because there are no huge marketing campaigns or strategies, nevertheless, the museum has a huge popularity, at least in Germany, but as well in a touristic context.

In our opinion, the Porsche Museum received its huge popularity not only from the unique design of the museum itself, but also from its connection to the luxury automotive company Porsche.
The biggest target group of the museum definitely are supporters of the automotive industry, to be more precise, the fans of Porsche, who are interested in the brands history and its successes in motorsport etc.

To summarize this little information about Porsche, the museum doesn't need a huge marketing campaign as e.g. the "Badisches Landesmuseum" does, because the Porsche museum has that special connection to the brand itself and therefore attracts its supporters without putting huge effort in marketing.

There are some more museums, that benefit from being connected to a worldwide successful brand. To stay in the automotive branch, you could also take the BMW Museum and the Mercedes-Benz Museum as examples, but I won't explain these in more detail.

I hope you'll be with us next week!

See you!!
